STEP ONE: Get an HDMI cable.
While this might seem unimportant, you do need to have the right. An HDMI cable or High Definition Multimedia Interface appears like this.
Now you know what it looks like. Be sure to have one that has an HDMI adapter on both ends and you are good to go. (Inner voice: Freak HDMI, go wireless!)

STEP TWO: Connect HDMI cable to your HDMI slot. Search for the HDMI slot on your TV. For LG TVs you would find the HDMI slot on your TV’s backside. This slot is usually named HDMI IN.
STEP THREE: Connect HDMI cable to the input source. You can connect your HDMI cable to any device that supports and has an HDMi input slot. Adapters are also available for devices.
